'Alianna' Vintage German 1950s Primrose Flower Stem
We often get asked for primrose flowers, partially because their name originated from the Latin word 'primus' which means 'first'. For that reason they are associated with youth, renewal and optimism.
Ironically these babies are old! Over 60+ years in fact but they are totally new deadstock originating from Germany. Because of that they are the most extraordinary quality. Each of the 7 perfectly formed dainty blooms features a painted detailed center, fine gradient stamens and a rolled fabric stem that has an internal wire so you can bend as you wish. Added to this is 6 wired leaves with hand painted detail. It really is fabulous!
