'Joan' Extra Large Satin & Silk Vintage Tropical 1950/60's Czech Millinery Flower
BY FAR THE MOST GORGEOUS FLOWER WE HAVE COME ACROSS YET!!!! And that is saying something as we have laid our eyes on thousands of designs over the years.
Made in Czechoslovakia in the 1950/60s, this superbly crafted silk flower has the most careful dye job, fading in and out of bright yellow and orange at the outer edge. There is a large central flower and a smaller bloom at the top of the mount. But what really takes the cake here is the leaves. Holy moly! They are superb. Made from a super glossy fine woven satin, they are a wonder to behold. Pictures just simply don't do it justice!
The whole mount is wired so you can adjust every element as you please, right down to the flower petals.
