The holy grail of millinery fabrics is here! Made from super fine abaca woven with shiny silk threads, this fabric has a glossy look that catches the light in the most spectacular way when bent into a curve.
Silk abaca is slightly sheer and has a blousey feel with an irregular wavy weave at first appearance. Gently folding it into loops and bows will bring this material to life!
Colour notes:
Black - the quality of this silk abaca is not up to the usual standard and is quite thin. We recommend doubling it over if you want an opaque look.
Fabric width: 99cm (39 inches)
Sold by the half metre which is 50x99cm (19.6"x39"). Multiple lengths purchased will arrive as one long continuous piece.
