'Alisson' Vintage 1950/60's Silk German Primrose Flowers with Rolled Stems
These might just be our favourite vintage flowers yet - and we have seen quite a few! To start, the quality and workmanship here is fabulous! Exactly what you would expect of vintage German-made flowers of the 1950/60s. Each primrose flower is made with a soft hand-painted silk petal layer and has a second later of cotton on the underside. The contrast is really pretty and give the flower some umpf!
In the middle is a perfectly dyed and painted teeny centre. Each flower is finished off with a wired rolled stem. We love that you can split these apart to use on several projects, but honestly, we want to cover a whole headpiece in them!
